Privacy
One Team Love is operated by Sean Ross. This policy covers the One Team apps at oneteam.love, early-access requests, newsletter preferences, and the optional SMS program described here.
Information you choose to provide
The apps may store the information you enter, such as names, events, RSVPs, availability and shared expenses. Information you put in a shared event, poll or group can be visible to other people with access to it; be thoughtful about what you include.
Early access and One Team news
When you request early access, we store your email, any name or project idea you choose to provide, the page you signed up from, and the time of your request. We use these details to consider your request and contact you about access. You can separately choose occasional One Team updates; we store that choice and the disclosure you saw. A newsletter-only request does not apply for early access. These records are held privately on our server, and submitting a request does not create an account or send an automatic email. Contact us below to change your preference or request removal.
Browser and service information
Cookies and browser storage help the apps remember you and your choices. Our hosting and network providers process connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the service. Clearing browser storage can remove your access to browser-linked records.
Text-message preferences
We collect your mobile number on our reminder signup or phone sign-in test only to send you the One Team Love text messages you ask for: reminders you opt into there, and sign-in codes at the moment you request one. We do not text you for any other reason. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, opt back in by replying START, or reply HELP for help.
The reminder signup stores a keyed hash of the number you enter, its last four digits, your consent or withdrawal, the time, the signup source, and the disclosure version you saw. A separate browser cookie lets you revisit that preference. The full number is not retained by this signup, and the record does not prove ownership of the number.
The phone sign-in test sends a code when you tap Send code. We process the destination number and message content through Twilio and telecommunications carriers to deliver that requested text. Our server keeps your phone number, a hashed temporary code, hashed browser and connection identifiers, request times and the disclosure you accepted to verify sign-in and limit abuse. Successful verification creates or resumes an account that holds your verified phone number and sets a sign-in cookie. Twilio may retain delivery records including the destination and message. Reminder delivery remains disabled. Requesting a sign-in code does not enroll you in recurring reminders.
How we use and share information
We use information to provide the features you request, remember preferences, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and maintain the service. We do not sell personal information. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with anyone for any purpose, and are never shared for others’ messaging programs.
The only exception is our messaging provider and the telecommunications carriers, who receive the destination number and message content solely to deliver a message you asked for — never for their own marketing. Service providers may process information only as needed to host, secure or deliver our services. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address abuse and protect rights or safety. This does not grant anyone permission to market to you.
Your choices and retention
SMS reminders are optional. You can withdraw the saved preference on the reminder page in the same browser, or contact us. For sign-in texts, reply STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, and HELP for help. We keep records while needed to provide services, document consent and withdrawal, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations; some records may need to be retained after an opt-out.
For access, correction or deletion requests, email [email protected]. We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Deleting your browser cookies alone does not delete server records.
Updates and contact
We will update this page as the service changes and show the effective date. New messaging purposes will require the applicable consent.
